So when I want to render to DVD I don’t change anything to deinterlace? I just set my render to MPEG 2 and burn it, correct? Here is my camcorder: Samsung SMX-F34 camcorder, Format H264.

This is the most confusing thing to me. I just want the best DVD settings I can get.

If I did deinterlace, what would be the best setting for that?

No need to deinterlace. Use one of the DVD Architect video stream templates for the video and then either AC3 or WAV/PCM for the audio. Give them the same name other than the extension.
