    Hi guys,

    DVDA 4.0

How do you loop a menu so that it does not go to BLACK for a few frames?

I have video as a background on several pages with chapter menus and I’m trying to figure out how to loop the background so you don’t see any BLACK frames when it resets. I can get it to loop, its the BLACK frames that bug me…

    Thanks,

    Thomas

The black frames are very annoying aren’t they? They are caused by the audio being played for slightly longer than the video even though you rendered them at exactly the same length in Vegas (which is why it’s so annoying!)

To fix it you have to manually set the menu length. Under Menu Page Properties select the General button. Then under Menu Length, change it from Auto calculate to Specify. Finally, change the Length to something shorter. You’ll have to play with it a bit because it uses 100th’s of a frame which is kinda ridiculous but that’s what it uses to specify the menu length.
