    Hello,

Im shooting weddings on my Canon xha1 HD at 30p and would like to go directly into
DVD architect for burning the final product at the best quality possible.

What should my render settings be?

Also keeping in mind that my wedding videos can be up to 3 hours long and I would
need to burn that on a standard DVD.

    Thanks.

First thing…if you are gonna burn 3 hours of
video on a standard DVD you are gonna suffer
quality loss….That is something i would not recommend
for your paying clients, particularly of their weddings,
(2 hrs) is the most….anything over is best to burn on
    another disc.

And here is a link to the full details needed for the
highest & best possible burning output using DVD Architect:

As Steve said, 3 hrs on a single layer DVD will have low quality. An alternative to consider is to buy Double Layer DVD’s. They cost more but you can get twice the play time so 3 hrs should fit. Then just use the DVD Architect MPEG-2 templates in Vegas to render to.
