  Sony z1 u to computer err massage

  When I imported a movie from camcorder, one blank files coming each an every clip with,and try to import to a editing software an err massage coming on. I have camera Sony z1u, software Sony vega pro, I’m using FireWire , please any one help me

  What are the error messages?

  What version of Vegas Pro? (8.0, 8.1, 9.0 32-bit, or 9.0 64-bit?)

  Perhaps your firewire cable or firewire port has a problem? You should be able to capture from a Sony Z1U with Vegas Pro 8.0 or 9.0 without problems. I do this all the time although I use the 32-bit version and not the 64-bit version.
