    Hello to all,

I wanted to ask one thing – how can I work with the files .Mod in SonyVegas 9. In principle, the file can not be opened directly, The Vegas does not "see" the files .Or mod your computer or directly into the camera ( Canon FS10). Ago which is converted into a file .Mpg and then edit it in Vegas, What happens with some converters although the resulting file is opened in the Vegas but it has bugs and graphical sound in some places… My questions are:

    1. There is any possibility to edit a file .Mod directly Vegas?

    2. In the case of having to convert .Mod to another format in order to edit Vegas – I have to choose which format to make the less quality is lost (if possible, Do not miss)?

Thank you very much, Un saludo!

The real fix here is to not buy a camera that writes to a proprietary format. I had read somewhere that .mod files are just mpeg files so you might try renaming them to .mpg and see if that helps. I would be asking Canon these questions as they are the ones that produced the odd-ball format. Canon should have given you a program to deal with this problem.

Thanks for the reply! I tried renaming the files but the result remains the same. Canon gives you a program called pixella imagemixer3 but does not include the serial. You have to get to England call, I do think that the same issue with my editor always, But are no longer what to do… Thanks anyway!

Also broke the head com this guy .Mod com my JVC everio.
But I managed to edit it in Vegas 9 normally and without converting.
Click com Right in the window explorer and select view all files and ready, Just drag to the timeline.
Obs: In other versions of Vegas may happen that the timeline only receive video without audio, The event, You must convert the video .Mod and use only the audio converted by replacing the original video.
