I own BackPak 1 as a part of Production Assistant. Since tonight, when I start Vegas 8b pro, I get the message: “BackPak 1 Your licence has expired.”
After clicking OK, a VASST popup window asks for the licence key. When I enter the licence key for Production Assistant, I get the following message:
“An error occurred while installing the licence. Ensure you have sufficient privileges to install the licence.”
I am working from a Windows XP SP2 administrator account. What is happening? And how to solve it?
    Thanks for any sloution.

I just tried to re-install Production Assistant. After re-installing, a Sony popup window asked for the licence key of Production Assistant. This licence key was accepted, but immediatly the VASST popup window appeared again, asking for the licence key for BackPak 1. The key for Production Assistant is not accepted by the VASST window. So reinstallation did not help.
    Any other solutions?

Isn’t BackPak part of VASST Ultimates S ?
Production Assistant and Ultimate s are two different tools,
therefore the production assistant serial isnt gonna work.
Do you have your serials for Ultimate S?

Yes, and it’s part of Production Assistant as well because both have the Motion tool (MotoFoto) that uses the BackPaks.

    Re-instaling Windows solved the problem.
    John, thanks for your support!
