So…I will be using my high def cameras for the first time this weekend. I will be shooting in HDV 1080i. I intend to deliver the product in a SD DVD.

    1. After I edit in Vegas8, if I render to MPEG2, that produces a SD DVD, right?

    2. If I wanted to produce a Blu-Ray disc in Vegas, I would use the same editing that I used to produce the SD DVD, right? I would simply go to Tools, Burn, Burn Blu-Ray, right?

    TIA, Jim

    Yes.

Yes, as long as your project settings are HDV.
