    Hey all,

Having an odd problem with RAM preview and render in after effects. I’m creating a 3d checklist with a camera that pans over all the checked items. Im using 3D stroke, glow, gaussian blur, regular stroke, and a camera. When i try to RAM preview, it gets caught up on the second word in the list for some reason. All the layers are duplicates of each other, so nothing is changed other than their timing. Even if I try to scrub over that part in the timeline, it wont show me the preview on the monitor. None of the other words or objects are giving me this problem. I can even solo each individual part of that part of the video and they all work individually, but when they are part of the comp, AE freezes up and gives me an alternating error message: either a Sigma symbol or a square. I can render out, but it takes FOREVER to get past that part of the timeline. This isn’t a project-breaking problem, but it is VERY annoying and I’m wondering if anyone has a solution.

    Thanks for any input,

    Adam
