  blank preview

  im using sony vegas 8

  avi clips

  i want to preview my video
  i have everything in the right place for my video and i just want to render it but when i preview it the footage is just black or its black and flickers i can still hear the audio tho

  help please?

  Chances are you have the “Trimmer” Preview engaged. This was a feature added in VP8. Just go to Trimmer and click on the Preview Icon in Trimmer.
