Vegas Metronome
Hello all I am using vegas to multitrack drums and Im finding limited functionality with its metronome.
How can I adjust the volume and how can I adjust the time signature in the middle of a song?
I did read that it is impossible with v2. I use V6 and Im hoping that they addressed the issue and I just havent found the setting.
If its impossible, I was thinking I could import a click track. Does anyone know of any free software that you can program a click track and export as wav or mp3? Id need to actually program it with time changes so a simple web app couldnt really help. Id need to export it and then import it unless someone has a better idea, Im listening!

Right-click on the track and insert a Volume envelope. Then create points in the envelope by double-clicking it and adjust the points to the new volume.

You can’t. Vegas only allows you to set the time signature for the whole project.

Nope. You really need Sony ACID for this kind of work.

Vegas has a metronome. Just record it as a wav file at the tempos you need.
