  move the track/s in the timeline…goes back to original position. HELP PLEASE!!!

  I have this terrible problem that no matter what I do, it just can’t be fixed. OF course when editing videos, you want to be able to move the track in the timeline and make it in slo mo or fast mo but I CAN’T DO THAT. I don’t know when it began. When ever I move the track in its timeline, it just jump back to its original position. I’m not just moving it for some seconds or milliseconds for it to snap close to other clip. Even if I move for as far as 5 minutes from its original position, it just comes back to it. The only thing I can do to move it is to cut it and paste it to whatever time I want it to be. I can’t even make slo mo anymore because it also returns to its original phase. The Heck?! I’ve tried all possible options, reinstalled it, restart my computer. What now?!

  It sounds like you have Ripple Edit turned on. Try turning it off with Ctrl+L.
