  HELP! How do I do this effect in Vegas?

  Please help me, I’ve been trying to find the answer everywhere, I’ve even contacted the video maker, but no response.
  You see, I’ve recently got Vegas and I really like this effect, but I can’t seem to figure it out.

  It appears throughout this video [for eg at 0:05 and 0:07], kind of like an overlay effect.

  If you are referring to the transparency just hover your mouse at the top of any video event and you’ll see the cursor change to a hand with an up/down arrow and a tool tip says “Opacity is 100%”. Just click and drag down and you can change the opacity to any amount you want revealing any video on the tracks below. You can also set the opacity of an entire track in the track header (for some reason it’s labeled “Level” in the header).
