  Need help with new computer set up for editing

  I recently purchased a new computer and am looking for some help on the set up with it for efficient editing with Vegas Pro 8.(where to install software,files,edit new projects ect..) Some of the computer specs are below.

  processor…..i7 Core 920
  mother board..Asus P6T Intel x58 Chipset
  memory……..12GB (2GB x6) DDR3-1600 Triple Mem Corsair
  Hard Dr 1…..750GB Serial ATA II 7200rpm
  Hard Dr 2…..750GB Serial ATA II 7200rpm
  oper sys……Vista 64bit

  Install Vegas on your C drive. Use the second drive for all your video files and rendering. (Scratch Disk we call it)
