audio dropouts on Vegas video renders
Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone might have any ideas to help solve this problem, it’s been driving me mad.
I have a Sony SR-12E (PAL version) camera and have been recording at full resolution.
I am running Vegas 8pro on a quad core intel system, 4GB of memory, 1GB graphics cards, 22″ inch for hd res monitor, 2TB hd.
I have imported the footage (1440x1080x32 25fps interlaced) and edited the project (Project is the same settings as imported medie). There are multiple tracks of audio, video and some lower thirds and random graphics. All the video sources are the same. There is no blank gaps on any of the project sections I am trying to render out, however, on some of the renders audio play back just mutes for a couple seconds at a time. The odd thing is, that in Vegas the audio peaks still show, however, they have no sound. However the source files still have the audio. If i split and cut out the affected parts, save and then bring the same files back in, the audio is fine. But sometimes the same thing will happen on a different part of the project on the next render or preview.
I have tried multiple render formats, both SD and HD.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
