  Tracking a Building Sign – Zoom In

  I have footage of a basic zoom in on a building sign. The sign is rectangular. However I’m not sure how to track it since it zooms out from far – the corner points get a little lost – I started tracking from the end of the shot backwards and about half way through the zoom the 4 points got thrown off.

  Next, if I use a Null Object as my track object – I’m guessing I can parent my “new” building sign layer to that null object – however I’m not sure how to animate the new sign so that it scales up along with the zoom in and stays in place.

  Please note I’m using AE CS3.
