  SV: How to export animation as a PNG sequence(transparent background)

  Hello,

  Dear Sony Vegas senior users, as topic says I’m trying to make a movie with transparent background so that I could import it to my flash project – I know how to make a movie with a transparent background in SV. However, when importing to flash I need to compress my file in flash; there’s no other way. As a result, I get my animation with a solid background(I can use overlay or sth else, but then what would the point of creating transparency in SV?). I’d like to know how can I save my movie project as a PNG sequence? How to do it? Do you know a program where I can do it? Maybe importing to After Effects, if so where is that option? I’d be grateful for any sugestions.

  You can do this right inside Vegas. Try Tools | Scripting | Render Image Sequence
