  Sony Vegas wont Open – Vista

  I upgraded to Windows Vista Premium so I could install the upgrade.

  Now, I cannot get any version to open. I get an error:

  “The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002)”

  I ran my registry cleaners. I uninstalled and installed it again.. I cannot get any version to open.

  I just went into the registry and deleted the CD key. Maybe that will work, but this thing has me stumped.

  What the heck happened?

  Someone please help me.

  go to your system properties, and make Vegas excluded from DEP (Data Execution Prevention)

  might be the issue….
