Set Windows Autoplay to Capture using Sony Vegas Capture
When I connect my camera to my computer, I want Sony Vegas Capture to automatically start. Windows’ Autoplay pops up asking what I want to do, but does not include Sony Vegas Capture as an option.
At “Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\AutoPlay”, I see the section “Digital Video Device”, and I want to add Vegas Capture as an option (which I would then select as the default).
It is impossible to add it – at least within Windows Autoplay settings page.
(I tried and failed to find the answer in Windows forums.)
Is this a registry thing? Can I create a shortcut to vidcap60.exe and put that in some windows application data or system folder?
