    Hello,

I’m doing some vegas importing & rendering-out tests using Apples animation compression, png sequences, and targa sequences. All are wrapped in a .mov. I’m importing and rendering all files at 1920×1080 30p.

Can anyone share what they’ve figured out to be the best format for importing into vegas, for the best rendering results, in regards to png/targa sequences and apple animation compression?

My workflow: Zackwerks ProAnimator animation software render out to Vegas for a final render out with audio.

    Appreciate any thoughts!

    tks,

    t.

I don’t know if it’s the “best” format but I use the Quicktime Animation codec all the time to move between After Effects and Vegas at 1920×1080 and I haven’t had any quality problems.

quicktime animation seems to be the quickest to render out as well.
