HD, Raylight, Vegas 7, render issues
Hello and thank you in advance for your help. I am editing a project that was shot 24p on a firestore device. We loaded the files to my xeon workstation with 4 gigs of ram running xp and vegas 7e. In order to view and use the files I needed raylight…great. all was fine and dandy until i tried rendering a section of timeline. For whatever reason when the render gets to a section where i have a velocity or time stretch (not sure if that matters)I am left with a black space after that the render works fine…I don’t know why…when I try to render the whole thing to a quicktime file or wmv it stops at that section and completely locks up at like 56 percent, I can’t do anything then but manually end task and shutdown vegas, even as an avi i had problem with that area…any thoughts would upgrading to vegas 8 do the trick.
One other thing if I go to my documents or something outside of vegas (firefox, whatever) and then back to vegas I have to wait sometimes 3 minutes for vegas to “get up to speed” I don’t know what that is about, seeing that I recently reformatted and started from scratch. Please advise.
