Where is the vegas wish list
Hello guys,
It has been a long while since I posted here(spent a few years polishing my .net skills to pay my bills). I went by the handle saxxey back then. I see there has been a lot of rules implemented since i last posted. I have used Vegas on a weekly basis since VV3.
I know that Vegas can’t do everything but I would really like to see a DVD Ripper just like the CD Ripper. I know that there are probably a lot of dvd rippers out there but since ripping is so common now It would be nice to have it encapsulated inside Vegas. That way I don’t have to interrupt my workflow to open another app. Then again maybe I am just lazy.

Your wish is Sony’s command… 😉
It’s already there under File | Import | DVD Camcorder Disc.

I dont know if you are aware that you can insert your DVD
and import it right in Vegas…..
Just go to “file – import – DVD Camcorder Disc” and your
DVD will be imported (ripped…lol), to the timeline in the
mpeg2 format and all in the proper sequence.Steve Rhoden

Well that is what I get for hiding for the last 2 versions. Just about everything I do in vegas I learned here. I guess I should be kicking myself for staying away so long. I will have to see what other wishlist requests I already have.
