  text in ProType Titler disappears

  I have made an animated text in the ProType Titler of Vegas 8.0b. The text consists of 2 lines and the animation works fine. Next I copied the Protype Event together with some events that form the lower third to another place on the same tracks. The animation still works fine.
  The problem: in the copy I need only the first line of the text. If I remove the second line, the first line is still visable in the Titler window, but after closing this window, the text has disappeared from the preview window.
  As alternative, I made the second line transparant. Again, the first line is still visable in the Titler window, but after closing this window, this text has disappeared from the preview window.

  Is this a known problem? Do I anything wrong?

  I found a solution: selecting the Child again after changing the text brougt back the text on the first line.
