  Shape Expansion

  Hello.I am working on a school project and i need some help.I created an object,an oval lets say and i want it to appear not all at once but from one point to another,to expand itself till it reaches the full shape.Thank you very much.P.S srry for my bad english i hope you understand what i want to do.

  As with most things in AE, there are many ways to do that. One way is to put a mask on the shape (by going to layer > new mask) and key framing the mask expansion in the timeline.

  By the way, this is a question that is more appropriate for the AE Basics forum.
