  Audio off sync; encoding LAME not working; stream offline when audio is mp3. Vegas 9.0 plat.

  Audio off sync.
  I put a video on the trimmer. It’s on sync. I play it and it gets off sync after a short while. Rebuilding peaks doesn’t work. After clearing cache, ram, restart etc. it gets back, then offs again.   Encoding LAME not working.
  The codec is in the list, I select my options, then when I hit save gives “An error occured while opening a codec”

  Stream offline.
  Gives “Stream offline” when file’s audio is MP3. I have installed LAME from multiple sources, ACM and DirectShow filter. I have alternated with ffdshow and normal MP3 decoder, but it does nothing.

  Try this;
  Put clip on timeline and ungroup video and audio.
  Go to the last word spoken in the video and drop a marker.
  Then go to the last word spoken on the wav graph and press S to split wav.
  Hold CTRL down and DRAG the edge of the audio event to the marker
  This will fix the sync problem if it’s caused by wrong sample rate.

  If you want to fix it by finding and seting the correct sample rate, calculate the ratio of change in duration in the above process and apply that ratio to the pitch of the wav event.

  No, the file is OK. And it does not off sync on the timeline, but only in the trimmer.
