  Transferring Video from a Canon Digital Camcorder to Vegas Studio 9

  I’m trying to transfer video I took with a Canon camcorder to Vegas Studio 9 for editing. This is the first time I’ve done this, and I can’t seem to figure out how to get Vegas to recognize the camcorder. I have the firewire wire cable connected from my camcorder to the computer, the camcorder is in play mode, but there is no capture device recognized by Vegas. I’m sure it’s something simple I’m missing – any suggestions?

  Please disregard my last post. Apparently, something was wrong with my firewire port – problem solved.
