  NTSC -PAL conversion

  I just transfered a friend’s home video from VHS to DVD. Is it possible to load that NTSC DVD into Vegas Pro 8 and convert it to PAL for his family outside the U.S? If so, how do I do that? Thanks.

  Sure its possible..Before placing anything in vegas,
  just first set the project properties to the PAL template
  and settings you desire, then when you import your footages
  on the timeline, you open the pan crop window and right click
  and select “match output aspect” for each video clip and do
  your tweaks from there.

  You may also want to check out DVfilm Atlantis. It converts from NTSC to Pal and from Pal to NTSC.
