Pro Type Titler Disappeared!
My pro type plugin is no longer visable when I go to insert via the generated media folder. I have searched every setting and can’t seem to find what has hidden or moved this plugin, but I need it back. Today, I got so frustrated that I reinstalled via the original software disc, it’s still gone. Updated the version to (D) via Sonys website, still nothing. It has to be something in the program preventing this from showing, but I really need this back. Please help!

you sure it’s not just hidden in a dock?
Do you have a title on the timeline? If so, click the edit button and see what happens?Douglas Spotted Eagle

thanks for the response.
control and shift did not help. when you say hidden in a dock, do you mean the plug in might have been moved into lets say transition or somewhere else? when I have footage or sony text on a timeline, when I click edit there is no mention of protype anywhere. I am lost!

Can you confirm which version of Vegas you updated to? It wouldn’t have been Movie Studio Platinum 8.0d would it?

As you may have already worked out, there is your problem. ProType titler was introduced in Vegas Pro 8.0, and so if you had ProType titler before, you should be downloading and running Vegas Pro 8.0c.
