  nested projects & quality loss?

  Im editing a documentary and was thinking of editing for example each interview on its own, so i can apply same effects to audio track of each person.
  If i use separate projects and then add them as nested to the final edit, will i have the same quality as if i did it straight straight in the final edit?
  Im working HDV with no intermediate codecs, in Vegas 8.0b, as i had a problem exporting “a copy” to soundforge in Vegas 8.0c.
  Guess my question is more simple than all i have explanied: is there any loss in quality when using nested projects?

  In a feature movie (So Love Returns) I had 15 nested subprojects. I noticed no loss of quality. jk
