  vegas pro 8b locks up when trying to create a multicamera track

  Anyone have or had a problem with vegas pro 8b multicamera locking up when trying to create a multicamera track. I’m only using 3 cameras, I select all the tracks, have multicamera editing enabled, and when I select create multicamera track the windows eyeglass appears and that’s all that happens. I eventually get the “program not responding” in the upper left of the screen next to the veg. project. I’m working on. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

  First off, you might want to download 8c.
  Additionally, if you’ve got a bottleneck for the three cams, such as a USB-based external drive, that can get you. Or, if you’ve got preview settings at Best/Full, it might be you don’t have enough resource to properly draw.
  Dumb question, but you don’t have anti-virus running, do you?

  Thanks for responding. My settings and etc. are as follows:

  I do have anti virus running

  Interestingly, I opened another pro 8 program and selected all events on the first and copied to the second open version of vegas and was able to create a multicamera track. Must have some setting or ? on the original that won’t allow me to create a multicam track.

  By the way, I bought and I’m using your Vegas Pro 8 Editing Workshop training book. Good job!
