  How to make render and renderpre-view faster?

  I Have a 2.5 dual G5 with 3.5 Gig of ram and I am working on a 3 screen/split screen HD project on AE 6.5 but pre-viewng is taking to long as well as rendering, if I had 2 more G5s will I be able to view what I just created with out having to pre-render?

  If you’re refering to Grid Iron’s X-Factor it will surely allow you to do RAM previews more efficiently, but it won’t necessarily speed up interactive work or final rendering. You should more focus on lowering preview resolutions, soloing layers, using proxies and that kind of things. The effects of those measures are more noticeable.
