I have DVD Arc ver 4 and Vegas 7. I am trying to get a single movie DVD that repeats, made of a project I did in Vegas to be used at a trade show. Problem is the audio isn’t going to the DVD. It says all the right things when I prepare and burn, it’s compressing video and it’s compressing audio, but when the DVD is finished, there is no audio. The rendered AVI out of Vegas has the audio on it. There are no error messages. The video portion is fine. Any ideas would be appreciated.

For the benefit of someone who may have a similar problem in the future, can you please tell us what the solution was.
    Thanks.

I’m almost embarassad to say (; I have a new monitor and I had the audio for that monitor unplugged. The monitor I use for Vegas is on a separate system so it always had audio when I played the Vegas project. Once I put it on a DVD, that went in to the new monitor and the audio out from the DVD player was not connected to the proper audio in on the monitor. We all need a good chuckle every once in a while. Have a good week guys!

I think I speak for most folks here when I say that we’ve all had our “duh” moments 🙂
Glad to hear that yours was easily solved.
