mpeg importing audio but no video
I installed the trial version of movie studio 8. Used it for 30 days without a problem. When I went to buy it they had released v9. So, I purchased and installed movie studio 9.
However, now, many of my mpeg files, which worked fine before, import in as audio with no video. The files seem to play correctly in all the players and even import correctly into Nero but not into VMS 9. The only common issue that I can find with these files is that SOME of them are converted TiVo files. Not all but most. They all worked fine in 8 and there were no other changes besides removing v8 before installing v9.
Is there a setting that I missed somewhere? Something that I missed during setup?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?

Both DVDA and VMS have been registered but I still have the same problem. Do I need to register anything else?
I sent this issue to sonysupport and got sent back a reply regarding a known issue where two dll’s that needed to be replaced: mcdddec.dll and mcplug.dll
I replaced both and there has been no change in the problem.
This seems to be either a very rare issue or I am overlooking something overly simple.
