No playback or color with Intensity Pro
Hi guys,
I’ve just installed a BlackMagic-design Intensity Pro on my Vegas system.
It’s hooked up to a broadcast crt monitor via composite (for now).
I choose the BlackMagic-card in Vegas as my preview device and click “view on external monitor” BUT the image is only in black and white. Also “spacebar” has stopped working. Infact all playback has stopped working. The play-button activates but the playhead stands still. I can only view still-frames in black/white – not exactly what i wished for…
Maybe it has a relation to the problem, but WinAmp also stopped working after I installed the card. Same problem with playback.
Does anyone know what to do? Help, please! 🙂

Did you check on Blackmagic’s site for system hardware requirements for the Intensity Pro? You may possibly be having hardware/driver issues.

Hmm.. yeah. My motherboard is an Asus P5WD2-Premium and the only Asus on the compatibility list is the P5B. So I guess thats the issue?!
