I am sure this is an easy fix, but I can’t seem to figure it out. I am used to using FCP and I am helping train some coworkers on Sony Vegas.

The problem is this: We go through and edit our timeline adding key frames on the audio for an hour long video. When we go back and decide to insert a title at the beginning of the clip, the clip moves but the key frames stay stuck to their point on the timeline. They will not move with the audio clip at all. If you have any advice please let me know. I would hate to have to re-do 4 tracks of audio key framing on hours of video.

    Hi,

Is “lock envelopes to events” turned on?

Another solution: after the insert, a post-edit ripple all tracks… etc could help (ctrl-shift-F is the shortcut).
That should move everything accordingly after an insert or delete.

At least it works on Vegas 6 ;))

    Regards
