weird audio problem?
Posted by Sal Prey on August 7, 2008 at 8:01 pmI import a song so i can remix it. And i put parts in a different track so i can make it faster or slower change the pitch and all that. But when i play sometimes it pauses. But if i play from where the pause starts (from the marker) it doesn’t pause. Also when i convert it is only 18 second when it should be 3 minutes. Please help.

August 8, 2008 at 2:01 amMore than likely the selection is only 18 seconds long. When you go to render, uncheck the box that says “render selection only”. And if you want the entire timeline to play through, double click the selection bar (blue bar with yellow tips on the end of it). You can also drag one of the yellow tips to extend the selection.

August 12, 2008 at 2:49 pmWhen you go to “File” and select “Render As” that screen has several options on it. Towards the bottom will be checkboxes. One of those will have this option.

August 12, 2008 at 4:04 pmi see the check boxes but the choices are
-save project as path reference in rendered media
-copy and trim media with project
-render loop region only
-stretch video to fit output frame size (do not letter box)
-save project markers in media fileAnd the 2nd and 3rd one won’t let me check them.

August 12, 2008 at 6:59 pmThey won’t let you click because there is now no “selection”. Once you got rid of your selection (the blue line with the yellow ends) that option is no longer viable. Once you make another selection that option will be selectable (or unselectable) as it is then an option.

August 20, 2008 at 10:42 pmHelp!
I am hearing my interviewee speaking in the music track. The dialogue is in the background and a few words ahead of the regular dialogue audio track. When I remove the music it is fine, I put it back and again I hear the voice of the speaker having a pre-echo effect.
Help!
Please advise.
Thanks.
Brian
