    I am using VMS 6.0.

I have made several movies and burned to DVD with no problems, until now.

Episode #1 occured on a recent vacation movie. I broke a 7 day trip into a seperate movie for each day, then created a DVD with all 7 days. The day 3 movie with about 30 seconds remaining has black lines appear across the images and stays this way to the end. Thinking I may have screwed up some setting, I rebuilt the movie and burned a new DVD – same problem – same location.

Episode #2 occured this week-end when I assembled a movie using clips and stills from a trip to Cancun. Roughly 1/2 way through the movie the same problem appears.

When watching it DVD in preview mode on the PC, no problem. Once I burn it to DVD and watch on the 50″ tv, problem.

Any ideas what I’ve done wrong?

    Thanks to all –

I would use a PC DVD player like WinDVD to view the VOB files and be absolutely sure that they do not contain these lines. Then I would look at the media you are using to burn. What do you use? Try using high quality Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. I’ve seen problems with low quality disc causing problems.
