  Need how to Ideas

  I need to animate arrows on a map showing paths. Not just lines with points but in some cases wide sweeping movements. Maybe like the path of a hurricane across a state. Could this be done in Vegas or is there some software that you guys might have used that would do this.

  You can do this right in Vegas. The arrows can be made with generated media using masks and the movement is easily accomplished using Track Motion. You can also make the arrows in an graphics package like Photoshop or you can use GIF files from the web. Vegas is exceptional with using all kinds of multi-media files.
