  vegas 8 video fx controls gone

  I’ve lost the ability to adjust Vegas 8 Pro Video Event FX. Presets still display from the tab and can be dragged into clip on timeline. Dialog box displays, but no controls to fine tune. This problem started on the current work in progress. I checked other projects and the same problem now exists with those also. Any suggestions to solve this would be appreciated.

  Probably you can try a maintenance re-install and let me know if it fixes it…go to your following directory:
  “C:/Program Files/Sony Setup/Vegas Pro 8.0”
  and press vegas80_enu and follow the instructions to carry out this maintenance.

  Before trying the maintenance install, you can also hold CTRL + SHIFT during start up of Vegas. This brings Vegas back to the default state.

  Thanks for your help. I’ve solved the mystery. It was operator error.
  The keyframe window had been pulled up to the top of the dialog box and obscured the rest of the window. Don’t know how it got that way,
  but all is well.
