  Adding text?

  Ok I am totally new at this stuff so don’t burn me to harshly. I am trying to make a slide show with music. I want the pictures to go with the music. I also want some slides in there with text. I tried making some slides on power-point but I can not insert them in to my Vegas 7. Can anyone give me some tips please?

  Export the slides from PPT as png or jpg.
  you can’t import animations/export animations, unless you record the screen

  yep, the only reason I can see you using PPT for slides is if you want to use the PPT animations. You could use camtasia or similar prog to record the animation as you play it.

  why not simply add text directly in vegas? there’s nothing that PPT really offers that exceeds the ability of vegas.

  Yea that’s what I’m thinking. Drop the pictures on the timeline, add a track above them and drop some generated text media for text. It would be a lot easier than messing the Powerpoint.
