  Help making the best quality possible

  Hey everybody. I wanted to say thanks for all the information again up front. You’ve provided a lot for me at least. I just wanted to put this up and see if I could get an assist on this new project I’m almost finished filming. I want the best possible film quality I can get and I was hoping you could walk me through it step-by-step and hope that I’m not missing anything here. It’s a short film (probably around 13-15 minutes total) so I think final version no matter the size will fit easily onto a DVD…or dual layer. I would like to make the highest resolution and cleanest cut possible in widescreen.

  Here are my specs….

  I’m using Sony Vegas 5.0
  I shot all my footage on a Panasonic DVX-100a at 24p (adv) widescreen.

  This is the first time I will have used a light rig of this quality and the look I would like is something of the highest quality. Also I have the magic bullet plug-ins for this version of vegas and I was wondering if I was going to see a quality drop if I use them over say using the color corrects that vegas provides.
