  DVD-A ( 3) pet peeve

  Every DVD I author, I have to go through this, there has to be an easier way I haven’t discovered.

  On my scene selection menus I prefer to have ‘Text only” buttons with “Text mask overlay” highlight. I always get an error prompt that one or more of these buttons are overlapping. Not a hint which one! The manual says it’s supposed to show me which are overlapping in preview, but no joy. I just resort to moving them around and run the “prepare DVD” to see if it’s happy. Very time consuming!

  Any help?

  Change to the selection icon, select them all, and you can then see the outlines and find what’s overlapping.

  View – Workspace Overlays – Show Button Masks may also be helpful.

  I knew there had to be an easy answer, but I was always in the thick of it to risk really messing things up.
