    I’m panning on an image.
I tried using a velocity envelope to change the rate at which the pan happened, but it did not affect the rate at all.
Wondering if I’m overlooking something obvious.
    Any help would be appreciated.

You can adjust this acceleration effect in Flash by changing the “ease” factor. Hoping this is possible in Vegas.

When using the velocity envelope, you’d also need to move the keyframes closer. Instead, try holding down the CTRL key and resizing the event smaller.

OK, will try that. Thanks for the tip.
