    Hi there!
I have such problem that I wanted to edit a game movie which downloaded using FRAPS. I’ve put it into Sony Vegas and everything seems to be perfect (preview shows it in the way it should be) but when I render it, the result is that I have only a black screen (no video), audio track and my subtitles.
    Please help.

I too am having this problem.

I recorded footage using XviD MPEG-4 codec to AVI files. After I finished my project, I tried to render in AVI. I too got a video that contained sound but no video with a large file. I also tried rendering in MWV, and got the same result. The only thing that rendered were my title screens at the beginning and the end and the music. Video played just fine in the preview. Any suggestions?

It occured (in my case) that the video which I put in Sony Vegas was compressed with XviD MPEG-4 codec previously and it occured that it should be an uncompressed file. When I made it uncompressed with Virtual dub program everything turned to be fine. Just save your video as an uncompressed file, then put it into Sony Vegas, do what you want and render it in the video format you wish.
