I am using a sony handycam dvd610 camcorder but I use the memory stick to record my video. I read that a memory stick has better quality than a dvd just wondering if that is correct.
My main question is under in the file menu under properties the initial project settings is there anything I need to change for my specific camera I Can film in widescreed mode but I really dont know if there is any advantage to that.
Under the video tab in project properties what do I need to change for my settings to start projects with.

If your camcorder is a DV type, Set your preferences to NTSC DV Widescreen. Danny
