  Fixing Erroneous Backlit Setting

  I shot a really important event recently with my Sony HVR-A1J. It was indoors under incandescent lighting. Normally this isn’t a problem for the camera. Unfortunately, I inadvertently pushed the “backlit” button.

  Now I’m in Vegas 8 and see some pretty sad results. I can turn down the video gain or gamma to get the light about right but there are what look like focus issues. The sharpen VideoFX can only be used so much before it distorts.

  Is there any hope of recovering this video?
