  vegas error message

  vegas versions 6,7 or 8 will no longer load on my vaio machine. stops loading during “Initializing audio engine” and error message pops up then shuts down the program.

  uninstalled vegas 8, reloaded and same results. same thing happens while trying to load vegas versions 6 and seven and movie studio.

  all have run on this machine previously.

  The message would suggest your audio drivers have been corrupted, moved, changed?
  Have you tried reloading those, first?
