Vegas Project Help
I have a big problem..
Im editing a montage for one of my friends and im almost done with the first song so when i woke up this morning i thought like okay lets wrap this half up BUT when i tried to open the project vegas gave me this message:https://share.xboxlife.dk/file/njdlotqzndbjogizytjmmgyzmwvmywjimmzinmy2zjm.jpg
I have no idea what to do i have tried reinstall vegas but without any luck. The worst part is that i did like i have always done (and i have been editing for like 2 years) and i have never seen anything like this..
Well im starting to realize that i might have to start over but i really dont wanna so if anyone can help me get this working it would be amezing and will love you 4ever 😉

Do a search of your hard drive(s) for that filename.
If nothing shows up, do a search for that filename with the “.bak” extension.
This is the backup file that Vegas should be creating for you.
Copy this file to a different location and rename it by dropping the “.bak” extension.
Now try opening it. -
so if the names is xzy.bak i should rename it to xzy.veg og just xzy?

For added security, it’s a good idea to create a second copy of the restored project under another name.

If you’re using Vegas Pro 8, you might also want to check out my Auto Save custom command. It will save your project every x minutes and append the date/time to the file name giving you a running series of backups.
