We have a video and graphics project that flickers slightly when viewed on a monitor or TV screen, not as much on the computer’s screen. It flickers mostly where there are smaller images of black on white text. Is there an anti-flickering filter in AE, or a de-interlacing filter?? Is this what I should use? I’m a producer who does not know AE well, but we can outsource to someone if we know AE can do it….

there is an effect in blur and sharpen called reduce interlace flicker that can often help. it does blur the image vertically, so you’ll want to use just enough to reduce the flicker on interlaced devices and maintain good image quality… if possible you should try to use it on the layers or pre-comps that are having problems rather than the whole comp.
