  Shotgun Mic Recommend

  Anyone have a recommend for a shotgun mic for my HC7?

  I’m needing to do a shoot with a single person talk. Would you recommend a lapel over the shotgun?

  Generally, a lapel is the last choice vs shotgun or small diaphragm condenser, depending on many factors.
  I’m a huge fan of the AT899 for quality lav, or the Tram, and on the low end, the AT 897 is an awesome mic. On the higher end, Sanken, and AT are my general choices.
