  • Restoring the audio portion of a video track

Hi guys, just a quick question here. It’s something I’ve done before, but I can’t for the life of me remember how to do it. I’d like to restore the audio portion of a video track I have on the timeline. Just as much audio as corresponds with the video track I’ve edited. I know it’s a simple command, but I can’t find it in the menus, nor referenced in the manual. I don’t want to grab yet another instance of the footage and re-splice it, as it’s in the perfect spot now. Just want to restore the audio. Thanks to anyone who can lead me in the right direction.

    You can:
Use a script like Excalibur or Ultimate S to one-button restore the audio

Right click the event and open in Trimmer, associated audio will come along with it, just use the TAB key to select only that audio and drop on a new track.
